WHO WE ARE AND HOW WE STORE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION

Goldhawk International Book Solutions is a book Distribution company which currently does not hold personal data to sell products directly through this site.

 

But in accordance to this policy we may in future sell our products through this website and in the course of doing so may hold personal details collected in accordance with this policy.

We are a small independent book Distribution company. We represent Publishers’ titles and other publications in print format.

We sell our products both directly to consumers and also to business customers including retailers, libraries, wholesalers and professional bodies and entities, and any other organisations that are interested in buying our books.

 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We currently not set up to collect or process personal data.

But in future we may do so once we have our website is set up to process orders or order books directly from our site either by an individual customer or a company.

This would require us to collect your details such as name, email and if purchasing products, your billing details, (including credit card information).  

 

Please check this policy from time to time to see our updated policy changes.

At this point we are not set up to collect any information on your visit to our website.

However, we would be doing so in the near future as this website becomes fully functional and equipped to deal with orders and track visitors. We shall notify you here as soon as we do.

We do plan to post marketing materials through blogs on the website and to individuals we do send newsletters to those on our database whether they are individuals, corporate companies or retailers. We will delete details of anyone who does not wish to receive our marketing services or enter any competitions that we may hold in the future.

    
For any goods or services from our Publishers we may collect your details to enable us or other suppliers of ours to communicate with you in relation to the purchase or provision of goods or services by you or the person that you work for. For instance, if you want to purchase a book from our site in the future, we may use your bank information to process the order through our fulfilment warehouse. This applies to any customer who buys through our website. However, we will not use your bank information for any other purpose other than to process your order. We will not communicate your bank information with anyone other than those that process your order and the bank in question for authorisation.

 

For employment within the UK

We may collect information about you to check suitability of age and right to work or reside in the UK to provide products or services. We will always indicate the need to collect the relevant information at the time of the transaction or services. We will also collect this information with prior consent form you.   
This information will be subject to checks and collection if you choose to be employed by Goldhawk International through our UK office.

We normally process personal data only in the UK or elsewhere in the EU, or in non-EU countries that are certified as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data. 

In the event you order products from us outside of the UK or EU, we will be obliged to share the information with the relevant warehouse to process the order from outside of the territories mentioned. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We will store all information securely (the level of security being appropriate to the nature of the data concerned and the other relevant circumstances).

We will do our best to ensure protection your personal data, but we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website and any transmission is at your own risk. We will try to secure all your information from such risk.
